Roxanne Jeppesen is the President and founder of the 501c3 non-profit organization, Cultivating Creative Minds, which employs 32 professional teaching artists who teach at 15 different elementary schools in Santa Clarita, CA. The non-profit organization provides 45 minutes of arts instruction per week to over 5,000 students.
Roxanne graduated with an Ethnomusicology degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 2001. While working as the House Manager at UCLA's iconic concert venue, Royce Hall, she started her teaching career as a part-time music teacher and band coordinator for the Sulphur Springs Union School District in 2003. Roxanne earned her Masters Degree in Teaching from the University of Southern California in 2014 and was the assistant Band Director at Jordan Middle School in the Burbank Unified School District 2015-2017.
Roxanne started playing drum set in 1990. She has studied with Billy Higgins, Dan Schnelle, Sherman Ferguson, Rick Lotter, and Stan Lunetta.
